On Thursday, 10 December 2015, Indonesian Institute for Energy Economics (IIEE) conducted a workshop on Surveyor Training for the project on “Survey on Household Use of Energy-Efficient Light Bulbs” in Hotel Santika Dyandra Medan, North Sumatera. IIEE is a supporting organization for the project, which is funded by Danida’s Environmental Support Programme (ESP3). The survey activity is performed to support Directorate General of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. This workshop was attended by IIEE team, representatives from Directorate of Energy Conservation-Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, government institutions in North Sumatera Province such as Office of Mines and Energy, the Central Statistics Agency, State-owned Utility and also team of surveyors from University of North Sumatera. More than 15 people attended the one-day event.
The main objective of the workshop was to introduce the survey activity plan, which will be performed in North Sumatera, to the local government. In addition, training for surveyors was also conducted at the workshop.
